4th annual lower sycamore fall Cleanup

We hosted our 4th annual Lower Sycamore Fall Cleanup on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. With the help of 74 volunteers, including 13 youth volunteers, and several employees from the Tonto National Forest - Mesa Ranger District, we removed 5.78 tons of trash and 14 tires from this OHV area. That’s 11,560 pounds of trash no longer littering our public lands! Thank you to all of the volunteers for helping us make a significant impact on this area!

This project was financed in part by a grant from the Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Recreation Fund administered by Arizona State Parks & Trails.

Thank you to everyone at U.S. Forest Service Tonto National Forest - Mesa Ranger District for their help and support of this event!

We know volunteers don’t attend our events for prizes, but it’s a nice way to help show them how much local organizations and the community appreciates their hard work.

Thank you to REI Co-op and RideNow Powersports in Chandler for donating raffle prizes!
