The Great Outdoors Fund Is Helping Us Raise Funds For Our Bush Fire Burn Scar Replanting Project

CALL TO ACTION! In 2020, a wildfire ripped through parts of the Tonto National Forest, burning over 190,000 acres of land and over 80,000 saguaros, which will NOT be replaced in our lifetime because they have no defense against fire and cannot rebound from fire damage. We are working to replant the area but NEED YOUR HELP! Can you donate $25, $50, or $100 to support our efforts? Visit the link below to learn more, and please consider making a donation. https://thegreatoutdoorsfund.org/product/bush-fire-burn-scar-replanting-project/

We are excited to work with our friends at The Great Outdoors Fund to raise additional funds for our Bush Fire Burn Scar Replanting Project! Help us restore the Sonoran Desert!

Stellar Adventures Sponsors Natural Restorations

We would like to welcome & thank everyone at Stellar Adventures for becoming an official Sponsor of Natural Restorations! Thank you for investing in Arizona's outdoor spaces and helping us put our mission into action every day. We’ve teamed up with Stellar Adventures at several of our off-road volunteer events over the years and we are honored to have them sponsor our restoration programs!

Since 1997, the team at Stellar Adventures has worked tirelessly to create one of the largest and most diverse family-owned outfitters of adventure and Southwestern style. They are a premier adventure company specializing in invigorating and informative off-road excursions in the Sonoran Desert.

From their newest mechanic all the way to their Chief Adventurer, every member of the Stellar Adventures family has three common goals: to uphold the very highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility, to provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for each client, and to see to it that every client of Stellar Adventures comes away feeling exhilarated and satisfied.

One of the most significant benefits of being a family-owned-and-operated company is the ability to accommodate individual requests and to get to know their clients on a personal level. They can’t wait to help you design a custom tour or organize your team-building outing! Choose your adventure—or let them build one for you—and explore this gem of the Southwest together!

We are proud to partner with organizations that are committed to helping us restore Arizona's outdoor spaces and provide contract work in nature to Post 9/11 Military Veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team.

Celebrate our 100th Volunteer Event on Saturday, February 18th from 9am-1pm! Join us as we partner with OdySea Aquarium for our annual President's Day Weekend Lower Salt River Land & Water Cleanup Event at Coon Bluff Recreation Area!

Click the HERE for all of the event details & registration.

Hike along the riverbanks & explore the area while collecting trash. Our friends from REI Co-op Adventure Center & Riverbound Sports are bringing kayaks & an XL paddleboard to help volunteers remove trash from the water and help ferry trash across the river to our dumpster. They will also provide PFDs and paddles.

If you would like to reserve a kayak or tandem kayak, please email Nicole at contact@naturalrestorations.org

If you have your own paddleboard, kayak or canoe, this is the perfect event to bring it out to help us get trash out of the areas volunteers cannot reach on foot. You can also help us ferry trash across the river to the dumpster.

This is a perfect time to bring waders, water shoes, or shoes you've set aside for a river cleanup. Most of the trash is across the river, we can ferry you across on a paddleboard or kayak if you don't have water shoes.

Groups & Clubs welcome! Great opportunity for youth volunteers! Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied & supervised by an adult.

4th annual Green Friday Lower Salt River Cleanup

The day after Thanksgiving, we hosted our 5th annual Green Friday Cleanup with REI Co-op along the Lower Salt River Cleanup at Sheeps Crossing Recreation Area and Bulldog Canyon at the Usery Pass & Bush Highway/Blue Point entrances.

164 volunteers, including 36 youth volunteers, helped us remove 2,080 pounds of trash (1.04 tons).

Green Friday is our way of thinking differently about the day after Thanksgiving; it’s a chance to celebrate the connection between people & outdoor spaces in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, & encourage use of outdoor spaces for education, recreation, & general health.
