earth day lower salt river cleanup with
Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co.
On Monday, April 22nd, 2024, we teamed up with Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co., Distinctive Salon, & Arevon Energy for our 9th annual Earth Day Lower Salt River Cleanup on the Tonto National Forest.
321 volunteers, including 15 youth volunteers, helped us remove 1,900 pounds (.95 tons) of trash from several recreation sites along the river! Volunteers also helped remove Stinknet (Globe Chamomile), a fast-spreading invasive weed.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Earth Day with us & make a huge impact on the Lower Salt River!
We would also like to thank our Sponsors! Without their support, events like this would not be possible: Arizona Wholesale Growers, AVNET, AZ 4Runner Outsiders, Arizona Toy Pros, Battle Born Offroad, Desert Monsters Tours, HDR Inc., Icon Vehicle Dynamics, Illuminated Funds Group, Nitro Gear & Axle, the OdySea Aquarium Foundation, REI Co-op, Resolution Copper, Salt River Project, State 48 Overland, Stellar Adventures, Tru Flask, Victory 4x4, and Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative.
Thank you to everyone at the U.S. Forest Service Tonto Nation Forest for their support!
