SUPPORT THE TONTO DONATION FUND

Every dollar you give is an investment in the Tonto National Forest! Your donation goes towards projects that directly benefit the Tonto National Forest. From funding restoration projects to purchasing supplies, & so much more! 100% of your donation will be used to support the Tonto National Forest.

Natural Restorations worked with the Tonto Forest Service to model the Tonto Donation Fund after the Sedona Red Rocks Trail Fund. They gather donations toward the maintenance & enhancement of the National Forest trails in & around Sedona & the Village of Oak Creek. For 11 years, they have been raising funds to support the National Forest in their area & we’re excited to do the same for the Tonto National Forest.

Legacy Gift Giving

You can have a big, lasting impact to ensure the preservation of the Tonto National Forest by adding a legacy gift to your estate plan in favor of the Tonto Trail Fund through Natural Restorations.

You can make a Planned Gift to leave funds to the Tonto National Forest through Natural Restorations. You can donate a specific amount, percentage of your estate, or assets like cash, property, or investments. Planned Giving allows you to support causes you care about and can offer tax benefits for your estate and heirs.

How to Make a Planned Gift

1.     Create a comprehensive Estate Plan: this is essential to legally transfer assets to a charity.

2.     Choose your method: Will or Revocable Trust: Include a charitable bequest, specify the nonprofit’s full legal name, Natural Restorations, address, 67 S. Higley Rd. STE 103-118, Gilbert, AZ 85296, & Federal EIN, 81-4745055.

Beneficiary Designation: Name the nonprofit as a beneficiary on retirement accounts, life insurance policies, or annuities.

3.     Identify the nonprofit clearly: Natural Restorations, EIN 81-4745055

4.     Specify the gift: decide whether to leave a specific sum of money, a percentage of your estate, a specific asset (like a house or stock), or a portion of a retirement account.

Benefits of Planned Giving

1.     Leave a Legacy: You can support the causes you care about beyond your lifetime, creating a lasting impact.

2.     Potential Tax Advantages: Charitable contributions can lower your estate’s value, potentially reducing estate taxes for your heirs. Donating retirement assets to a charity can be tax-efficient, as the charity doesn’t pay income tax on them.

3.     Flexibility: You can donate various assets, such as cash, appreciated securities, property or even cryptocurrency.

Important Considerations

1.     Seek Professional Advice: Please seed professional advice before making any decisions. Consult a qualified estate attorney or financial advisor to ensure your plan is legally sound & meets your specific needs.

2.     Communicate Your Intentions: Inform your family about your charitable giving plan & ensure they have access to the necessary documents.

3.     Tax Efficiency: Consider leaving retirement assets to a charity & non-retirement assets to loves ones to maximize benefits to everyone.

Thank you for your support!
