We conserve land through restoration, education, and outreach.

We hosted our 1st Annual Green Friday Cleanup along the Lower Salt River on Friday, November 24th, 2017. Volunteers chose to #OptOutside and join us the day after Thanksgiving to remove 4,795 pounds of trash from the Lower Salt River.

We targeted Granite Reef, Phon D Sutton, Coon Bluff, and Water Users Recreation Sites. Volunteers helped us separate aluminum cans and rigid plastics from the rest of the trash. 1,265 pounds of aluminum cans were recycled, 90 pounds of rigid plastics were recycled, and 3,440 pounds of trash was removed. We remove trash, graffiti, & anything foreign to the environment from natural areas. We provide hands-on service learning opportunities for youth & communities across Arizona.

In addition to hosting volunteer events, we launched a Dedicated Restoration Team that can conduct restorations beyond the reach of most volunteers.

Our Team works around the year in areas that see repeated dumping, areas too remote or unsafe for volunteers, areas too sensitive for a large number of volunteers, as well as graffiti removal. Our Dedicated Restoration Team expands the impact of our vision, and also provides contract opportunities to Military Veterans.

Our Dedicated Restoration Team removed more than 69 tons of trash and several panels of graffiti from OHV Areas in the Tonto National Forest - Mesa Ranger District and the Coconino National Forest during our first 11 projects for our Natural Restorations OHV Area Restoration Project funded by a grant from the OHV-Fund managed by the Arizona State Parks Board. Some of the earth's greatest landscapes are in Arizona and are threatened by the long-standing issues of trash, illegal dumping, and graffiti in natural areas. We want these areas to remain open to the public for future generations, but we cannot achieve our goals alone.
